Prevention is better than cure!
 Property Maintenance Inspections are now available across Bristol and Gloucestershire.  All inspections are carried out from ground level by our trained staff and are digitally documented along with a report of our findings and recommendations for your review. 
 DID YOU KNOW 
that most maintenance issues can be detected and dealt long before it causes a problem? With this in mind, we recommend that properties are inspected every 6-12 months. 
Inspections can be completely tailored upon request however, a typical inspection would look at the following areas of a property;
External Property Maintenance
- Windows and Doors 
 Check if they are sticking. Lightly oil hinges and locks as required.
- Gates 
 Check that they close and latch securely.
- Woodwork around garden boundaries 
 Check fences and gates for signs of rot or damage.
- Paths and Patios 
 Check for build-up of moss/weeds and any damaging wear to the concrete.
- Ground level around the property 
 Check for signs of build-up bridging the damp proof coarse or blocking air-bricks.
- Air-bricks 
 Ensure that they are clear
- TV Aerials / Masts
 Check that they appear solid and well attached and that any cables are secure.
- Guttering, Fascia, overflow pipes 
 Ensure that all guttering is clear and overflow is not dripping.
- Roof 
 Check for any visible missing tiles/slate. Inspect flat roofs for signs of felt damage/water pooling.
- Metal Flashing 
 Check for signs of lifting or damage.
Internal Property Maintenance
- Walls 
 Check for signs of damp / plaster damage.
- Smoke Detectors 
 Clean and Test.
- Taps 
 Check for leaky taps & tighten if required.
- Pipework 
 Check Kitchen and Bathroom/WC pipework is free from damage/leaks.
PRICING & BOOKING
 Pricing is dependent on the size and type of property.
If you are a landlord / agent booking four or more property inspections in one block a discount of 15% will be added to the total.
